Allport Sponsor Retail Week Success

With nearly 300 delegates, across the supply chain spectrum, May’s 2011 Retail Week Supply Chain Summit held at the Radisson Blu, Portman Square W1 has far exceeded organiser EMAP’s expectations, a spokeswoman confirmed yesterday.

Janine Halpin, Head of Retail at EMAP, said that whilst feedback is still being analysed, all the comments received so far have been really positive and all indicators showed that it was a well-received event, which had exceeded most delegates expectations.

Commenting on Allport’s participation as headline sponsor, Danny Clayton, Managing Director of Allport’s Supply Chain Management Division, commented.

“This is the most significant retail supply chain event in the UK, and we invested time, resources and passion to support it. We are absolutely delighted to learn that the summit was so successful.”

Clyde Buntrock, Allport’s Business Solutions Director, made one of the keynote presentations on the first day, drawing praise from the audience, both for the presentation’s thought-provoking content and his entertaining delivery style.
