Business on the Move

Developed by teachers and supported by 50 commercial sponsors – representing the diversity of the supply chain – Business on the Move is an innovative and fun educational board game designed to excite young people of all ages about business and the UK’s supply chain.

Business on the Move in the classroom

Players run a business moving different products from China to their UK customers by land, air and sea as quickly, as profitably and as responsibly as they can.

Players must make the same decisions businesses make every day. How do I deliver? What can I do to improve my supply chain? Will I make a profit? How should I grow? How can I cut my carbon footprint?

In addition to learning about business and supply chain, Business on the Move will help to develop a variety of skills – communication and numeracy, balancing conflicting priorities, competing, planning, problem solving and negotiating.

Allport Cargo Services are proud to support this enterprise and look forward to the launch at Hamilton House, The National Union of Teachers’ Headquarters, in central London on 27th June 2014.

We look forward to supporting the national roll-out of Business on the Move with new training modules based on ACS services from the Far East.
