Collaboration is good for sustainability

Allport Cargo Services recognise the responsibility we have to protect the environment and are keen to support initiatives that promote sustainability, which is why we are proud to support ELUPEG, a not-for-profit organisation, committed to reducing waste and promoting sustainability.

Formed in 2002, ELUPEG, is the only European organisation whose sole focus is the fostering of logistics collaboration.

It’s members represent every sector touched by logistics issues including:

  • Manufacturers
  • Logistics providers
  • Transport companies
  • Freight forwarders
  • Retailers
  • Distributors
  • Technology providers
  • Academics
  • Financial services

ELUPEG seeks to promote and facilitate horizontal collaboration, across rather than along supply chains, by bringing together non-competing and even competing companies.

Massive improvements in asset utilisation, carbon reductions, customer service and cost reductions are possible, through effective collaboration.

Allport Cargo Services are jointly hosting the next ELUPEG general meeting with World Duty Free Group, at our Heathrow Freight centre on Thursday 20th June from 10:45, till 16:00.

Hosted by Professor Alan Waller OBE, Visiting Professor in International Supply Chain Management at Cranfield, this promises to be an informative and entertaining day.

If you would like to make a booking, or request more information, you can contact Caren Tomkins at ELUPEG directly.
