With 2million sq ft of operating space and 6,000 colleagues in 16 locations across China, Cargo Services is well positioned to support the day-to-day operations and expansion plans of retailers and brand owners, including the Kering Group ( Gucci, Bottega Veneta ), Lavin, Diesel and the iconic luxury department store Lane Crawford.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1850, Lane Crawford today operates stores in China and Hong Kong offering exclusive brands and standing out as a brand in its own right with its distinctive retail environments; featuring displays of modern art, and services such as Personal Stylists and Concierge.

In October Lane Crawford opened the doors of their new flagship store at Shanghai Times Square; the most modern and largest ‘high-end’ department store in Asia.

We have been supporting Lane Crawford since 2001 and are honoured to have had the opportunity to play such a pivotal role in the successful opening of their new 150,000 sq ft flagship, by importing, processing and positioning sales stock and store fittings:
14,000 SKUs – 60,000 pieces
170 deliveries – completed within 17 days
6000 working hours – with 96 colleagues dedicated on one day

Mrs. Katherine Fung, CFO of Lane Crawford, found it incredible that given the tight time-frames and volume of pieces, “not even one pane of glass was broken.”
