On 25th March 2018, Bogdan Augustyniak of ACS Poland completed a half marathon in Warsaw, Poland.
The Warsaw Half Marathon is more than a race – it is a huge annual event with bands, drummers, cheerleaders and lots of positive energy to support the runners.
Bogdan finished the 21.0975 kilometres run in 2 hours 29 minutes and 19 seconds but he’s planning to improve on that time soon!
He was kitted up in the ACS colours raising 501 PLN (around £100) for his chosen charity WWF (www.wwf.org.uk).
WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. Their mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.
They help safeguard our most cherished wildlife – including magnificent rhinos, tigers and turtles – from threats such as poaching and habitat loss.
Striving to protect the world’s most treasured wild places from being overexploited for their natural resources.
Well done to Bogdan for his run time and raising funds for such a worthy cause!
