    To emphasise the importance of our commitment to customs compliance, ACS was one of the first companies in the United Kingdom to gain AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) accreditation in 2011.

Getting to know your business – We are keen to understand your business and your supply chain – where are you source and where you sell; in order to provide a solution which reflects your business needs.

Technology – Linking IT systems can provide significant cost savings; reducing double keying and errors. Customs data and status dates provided by Allport Cargo Services can also add value to our customers’ supply chains and improve cost control. Allport Cargo Services LIMA technology provides real time customs data links between suppliers and consignees.

Reporting – Our customs systems are able to provide a wide range of reports, adding to a client’s visibility. This information also assists with auditing, to check that goods have been declared correctly with the right amount of duty being paid.

Consultancy – Allport Cargo Services has a specialist team who support clients on customs and export compliance issues. The team is on hand to provide advice and training, and to help in the event of a customs audit, or an application for a customs approval.

Infrastructure – Allport Cargo Services operates four strategically located customs warehouses in the UK which enable the suspension of payment of duty and VAT, which helps clients to manage their cash flow. In addition, Allport Cargo Services operate two External Temporary Storage Facilities (ETSF), where imported cargo can be held for up to 90 days before a customs declaration is required.

Our global network allows Allport Cargo Services to provide assistance with a clients’ customs requirements at the other end of their supply chain.
