With a weekly audience of 50,000 Retail Week is a hugely influential news resource for senior managers and retail board directors.
Covering an array of topics, from the latest trends on the high street to multi-channel developments, from property management to technology, Retail Week is the focal point for the industry.
And since retail is one of the most advanced British business sectors for adopting supply chain strategy into their business planning, it was no surprise that in 2011 Retail Week, decided to recognise supply chain’s central role in retailing, and launched the Retail Week Supply Chain Awards.
And we are delighted that the category shortlist for 2012, announced today, has Allport as a finalist in two categories:
Supply Chain Technology of the Year
Third Party Logistics Provider of the Year
Allport’s submissions for the awards firstly outlined the launch of version IV of it’s supply chain management system – LIMA – highlighting it’s enhanced and market-leading capabilities; and secondly demonstrated Allport’s outstanding retail customer base, detailing the services Allport provide, which have been specifically designed and implemented for the retail sector.
Winners will be announced at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on September 12.
