Update from ACS Singapore – 26.06.13: Due to changes in prevailing wind direction, Singapore has received a short respite from the haze situation with Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) levels falling to moderate levels for the last three days.
While PSI levels have kept within the 50-60 range, the National Environment Agency (NEA) have reaffirmed their advice for the general public to keep all outdoor activities to a minimum.
Although Indonesia continue to fight the forest fires there is an expectation that, in the short-term, the haze will return to Singapore, but to what level is unknown.
It is still business as usual at Allport Cargo Services Singapore. We will keep you updated should things change.
